Big girls do cry.
Sayonara, baby (an acknowledgment or expression of goodwill at parting).
It’s about time, really. Not even the German women can win them all. It’s probably because the Japanese women were all radioactive or something, though.

This was a very dramatic goal by Japan. The goal sent shock waves around Germany.
Anyone who missed the game USA-Brasil (5:3 after 11 Meter shoot out) on Sunday should be “heuling” like a coyote. Soccer history was written. The US girls proved what a winning team is and which spirit stands behind it. Congratulations!

People are forgetting that the US women are older than most of the teams they’re up against.
They’re older because thay have an actual league to play in, and not just national “olympic athletic development” type of gin-up where they pluck the talent right off of the school pitch.
Another match has just ended with 3:1 for USA, putting the girls into the finals. The last two goals were fabulous and made for another great game.
