But I always take my tattoo equipment with me wherever I go

Doesn’t everyone?

I had no intention of working. Honest. And so I forgot my Esta travel permit. No big deal. Shit happens.

And then of course shit happened.

German tourists’ ordeal reportedly ending as they are returned from US detention – A German tourist detained by US immigration authorities is due to be deported back to Germany on Tuesday after spending more than six weeks in detention, including eight days in “solitary confinement…”

The families of the two tourists, who were detained by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (Ice), had compared their ordeals to “a horror film.”

  1. Ahhh, details, details. I know that I would travel 300+ miles just to take my dog to the vet in a foreign country. And I know that very, very few Germans have the ability to understand a complex question like “where do you live?” in English.

Also, it is common for tourists from one country to go to a second country and then take tattoo art tools with them to a third country followed by returning with said tools. Happens all the time. Hell, that one should have been an easy one to finesse. Just say that you BOUGHT the tools in Mexico and were taking them back to Germany as a gift for someone. Of course, if one is a tattoo artist it sounds kinda dodgy, eh?

    boo hoo.

btw, IF the English chick was held in solitary, it was probably for her own protection. Not all of the chiquitas being detained are friendly to gringas.
