Like wow, “they” got him already. And this before any of us had even found out that he was “the US’s public enemy no. 1,” at least as far as the Spiegel is concerned, I mean. Well sorry, I hadn’t known it yet.
But that’s just me again, I guess. I really didn’t think WikiLeak’s anti-American crusade was anything particularly out of the ordinary. I don’t even notice stuff like this anymore, you see.
Sure they violated the secrecy of diplomatic relations and put people in danger in the process and all that, but hey, it was all in the name of… In whose name was it again? Oh yeah, in that guy’s name up there.

Assange the Spitzel-Maus, you said it A.K. And Joe, it’s like so way too obvious that the whole thing has purely to do with this guy–it’s all about him (contrary to what his countless apologists may say:

He’s a marketing genius, I’ll give him that much, but the last thing this leaking business has to do with is transparancy. Anyone who thinks it through will realize that this will only lead to less transparancy. But hey, keep celebrating this guy, folks (for the 15 minutes he’s got), if that’s what gets you through the night.
It is obvious that this dude lives to breathe the air of internet insecurity mirroring itself cheaply at the cost of anything American. Illegal information, even legally published, is a crime and the dude is just the tool of whom? or what? , his own narzistic Gutmenschentum or a bigger, more powerful background?
He has done a great job, exposing all the Anti-American hype in a Germany and Europe that have long forgotten the blood spilled for their freedom just 65 years ago.

Wikipedia tells us his parents were operators of a traveling circus. Later they moved to the island called Magnetic Iceland. After the separation of his parents, he grew up with his mother. She married a musician in 1979. Out of the marriage Assange became a half-brother. After the divorce of Assange´s mother, who was an active film-lancer and temporary escapist from a cult, the two children often had to change the place of residence, turning them very often to school changers and therewith forced to intermediate lessons at home. Assange studied physics at the University of Melbourne. In 1987 he purchased a modem. Under the pseudonym, Mendax, he started hacking activities. During his time in hacking he met his future wife. Both moved together in 1989 and their son was born. In 1991 the couple separated. 1999, after years of litigation, his mother and Assange agreed to raising the child together.
Since 2006 he has been active for WikiLeaks. By his own admission he has earned money on the internet and was able to work without pay for WikiLeaks. As a result of his work for WikiLeaks, he was arrested several times, intercepted, censored, and also sued, unsuccessfully.
Since August 2010 Sweden runs in a case against Assange for sexual misconduct. The competent prosecutor Marianne Ny said in December 2010, she had never been exposed to any political or other pressure on this. In August 2010 two women accused Assange of sexual abuse. He is said to have had consensual sex with them, but that had developed, according to the women , to sexual abuse. The focus here should be, according to some media reports, on the questions of whether the sex was continued by consensus or whether Assange refused to use a condom and / or whether he sexually molested a sleeping woman or even had sex with her. Sex with a sleeping person´s consent is not considered unlawful under Swedish law. On the 7th December 2010 Assange was arrested in London.
Now different questions remain:
Is it the sleeper, at issue here? Or is it the sex? Or is there still a secret?
And most important for the public, if so, why is none of this known to WikiLeaks or Wikipedia?
