Obama, the Nobel Peace Prize laureate, didn’t focus on creating a better world in his speech. Instead, he talked about a better America, one with more opportunities for immigrants, more rights for homosexuals and less social inequality. Today’s America is deeply divided, but all sides agree on one point: America’s well-being is more important than the world’s.
Hey, leading from behind ain’t what it used to be. Wait a second. Yes it is.
Europe isn’t in a position to provide decisive leadership. And the US doesn’t want to anymore.

1. Do these idiots really think Americans elect their president to ignore Americans and serve the irrational wishes of spoiled, detached Europeans? Are they really that arrogant and stupid?
2. NOT leading is the idea. In terms of international affairs, it’s exactly what the left ran on. Spiegel saw this, everyone as self-absorbed and condescending as Spiegel saw this, and yet they don’t get it. This IS how to practice a “NO WAR” national policy that these two dimensional snapperheads wanted to begin with.

Quite true. Damned either way. And yet… This appears to be what everybody wants now. Remember how there used to be something called an arms race? Remember how there was once a race to the Moon? Now the race is on to see who can NOT lead the best in the Western world (lead the farthest from behind?).Ever feel like you’ve woken up in some Twilight Zone episode or something?
