If we could only figure out how they get into these near-insurmountable high-security facilities.

Maybe then we could finally find a way to stop them.

Germany: Climate activists block four airports – Cologne/Bonn airport announced it was suspending flights after an “unauthorized intrusion.” Protestors said they were also targeting air hubs in Stuttgart, Nuremberg, and Berlin.

Letzte Generation or “Last Generation” climate activists had promised demonstrations at several German airports this week.

They shared footage of themselves blocking the runway in Cologne, as well as in Stuttgart. The group also claimed to be blocking traffic in Berlin.

Will the escalation never end?

First, German climate activists of the “last generation” kind decided to glue themselves to the roads (and boy have those roads ever been cold these days).

Now they’ve decided to up the ante and begin organizing “disobedient assemblies.”

The next thing you know they’ll be holding hands and breath together until they turn blue in the face! This senseless escalation of violence must finally come to an end, people. I mean it.

German climate activists to stop gluing themselves to roads – Climate group the Last Generation said they will no longer glue themselves to roads as a protest method. They will now use the tactic of organizing “disobedient assemblies.”

PS: German of the day: Wütend (the guy with the sign). That means angry.

Support for climate movement halves as Germans reject street blockades – survey Climate & CO2 Society.

Germans’ support for the climate movement has halved following the rise of highly controversial street blockades by more radical activists, shows a survey by More in Common Germany, an initiative that researches social cohesion. “All parts of society are much more critical of the climate movement today than they were two years ago – it has not gained or maintained ground with anyone,” says the organisation.

Hey, what’s the big deal? When you’re one of the “last generation,” you’ve already got one foot in the grave.

“Last generation” blocks traffic in Berlin: motorist apparently drives over foot of climate activist – The RBB reported on Monday evening that a car driver had run over the foot of a climate activist at Messedamm and published a corresponding video. On it, two people can be seen dragging two climate activists off the street. Then a white car drives up and hits the foot of an activist sitting on the street. When the activist shouts loudly, the vehicle reverses.

Unable to see beyond the tips of their noses, a group of zany climate activists tried to tip the balance of power in Germany by tipping their hands and cutting off the tip of a Christmas tree.

That’s right. Don’t ask. Hell if I know.

Police got a tip-off but this anonymous tip came too late to keep the tip from tipping off. The activists are doing this, they were told, in order to… Wait a minute, it’s on the tip of my tongue… That’s right! In order to “save the planet.” How stunning and brave or something. Merry Christmas to you too, pal.

Climate activists decapitate prominent Berlin Christmas tree – Climate activists said Wednesday that they have sawed off the tip of the Christmas tree erected in front of Berlin’s iconic Brandenburg Gate.

The group Last Generation said two of its members used a hydraulic lift and a hand saw to cut two meters (six feet) off the top of the 15-meter (50-foot) tree and hang up a banner stating: “This is only the tip of the Christmas tree. (tip of the “climate catastrophe,” get it?).”
