Germans say allies ‘not angry or upset’

About the German allies who are angry and upset with Germany.

Russia-Ukraine war live: Drones cut power to Crimea as Germany says allies ‘not angry or upset’ over leaks – Germany says leaked intercepted call explained as ‘individual mistake’ to Washington and London.

… Meanwhile, the German defence minister has said the country’s allies are “not angry or upset” after details of high-level military discussions were leaked to Russian media.

Boris Pistorius described the incident, which included German military officers saying British forces were “on the ground” in Ukraine helping launch missiles at Russia, as an “individual mistake”.

“They are not angry or upset with Germany because they know that we have rules and that things like this can happen,” the German defence minister said.

It sounds too good to be true

So, it probably isn’t.

US and Germany ‘plan to force Zelenskyy to negotiate’ through choking off arms supplies.

While outwardly expressing full support for Ukraine, behind closed doors in Berlin and Washington plans are being hatched to force Ukraine into talks with Russia to freeze the war on its current front lines, German newspaper BILD said in a report published on Nov. 24.

German of the day: Loser

That means loser. It also means losers (in plural).

US and Germany risk owning Ukraine’s stalling war effort – The onus is on European allies to step up support and chart a path for Kyiv towards Nato and EU membership.

More than 50 countries are supporting Ukraine in its defence against Russia’s full-scale invasion. Yet Ukraine’s existential struggle in Europe’s largest war since 1945 currently hinges mainly on two countries. US leadership, as well as financial and material support for Kyiv, have been essential to Ukraine’s survival. Germany is its second largest supplier of weapons and money, far ahead of the rest of the field.

The Thrilla in Manila II

If you’re German, anyway.

The Muricans felt the agony of got beat.

FIBA World Cup 2023: Germany shock USA in Manila thriller to reach final – Andreas Obst scored a game-high 24 points to lead Germany to a 113-111 win over the reigning Olympic champions.

“This is not 1992 anymore. Players are better all over the world, teams are better, and it’s not easy to win a World Cup or an Olympic Games.”

German Of The Day: Eskalation

That means escalation.

Remember this decision when we look back from the future (I’m an optimist).

US and Germany ready to send tanks to Ukraine – After months of reluctance, the US and Germany reportedly plan to send tanks to Ukraine, in what Kyiv hopes will be a game-changer on the battlefield.

US President Joe Biden’s administration is expected to announce plans to send at least 30 M1 Abrams tanks.

German Chancellor Olaf Scholz has also reportedly decided to send at least 14 Leopard 2 tanks. He is set to speak in parliament on Wednesday morning.

“Glitches” Are Just Right-Wing Conspiracy Theories

Right? Even in, uh, Germany?

Germany Clears Rerun of Part of 2021 Election After Berlin Glitches – Irregularities in capital’s voting marred national election.

German lawmakers cleared a rerun of last year’s national election in six parliamentary districts in Berlin after irregularities at hundreds of the capital’s polling places triggered official complaints.

Germany Introduces Radically New Defense Concept

It’s never been tried before but the times they are a changin’ and call for desperate measures.

It goes like this: Instead of developing their own comparable European weapon system that will take three times longer to develop and cost three times more than planned (and then not work), Germany will buy a fully-functioning weapon system from US-Amerika that already exists and is immediately deliverable instead.

Germany to buy F-35 warplanes for nuclear deterrence – Germany will buy up to 35 copies of the U.S.-made F-35 fighter jet, reversing years-long plans that saw the fifth-generation warplane eliminated from consideration, defense leaders announced Monday.

The Wonders Never Cease

Us (as in U.S.) wondering about the Germans, the Germans wondering about us, etc. It’s a vicious circle or something.

There’s nothing to wonder about when it comes to Germany, if you ask me. But you’re not. So there. Have it your way. I won’t tell you.

Is Germany A Reliable U.S. Ally? Berlin Still Wonders the Same About Washington.

How Disrespectful

I don’t mean disrespectful to Donald Trump or to his supporters, although they’re certainly being disrespected here too.

How disrespectful to those people who really suffered under that evil. To make a comparison like that, yet again, is really jaw-dropping. We all know that the Left is currently imploding right before our very eyes, and that must be tough, we get it, but how on earth can you still come up with newspaper headlines like this?

“Powerful documentary makes it clear: Germans knew of Hitler’s evil, just as Trump’s disciples know today.”
