Berlin’s Christmas markets have been reflecting this for years.

Germany’s Federal Criminal Police Office wants to secretly break into homes as part of anti-terrorism measures. That is currently prohibited, but the interior minister has far-reaching plans.
At first glance, Interior Minister Nancy Faeser’s (SPD) proposal is reminiscent of a method practiced by the “the Stasi,” the Ministry for State Security of the former communist East Germany, whose secret police infiltrated the homes of suspected regime opponents in order to tap their phones.

Just because he was already known to Austrian authorities as an Islamist and purchased his weapon illegally the day before in Salzburg and his shooting rampage in Munich occurred on the anniversary of the Palestinian terror attack at the 1972 Munich Olympics in which 11 Israeli athletes were murdered and in the immediate vicinity of the Israeli consulate doesn’t really mean that he was a real Islamist terrorist or anything. Let’s wait until all the facts are in.

Germany’s Scholz to visit Solingen after deadly knife attack – German Chancellor Olaf Scholz was set to visit the western German city of Solingen on Monday, three days after a knife attack which claimed the lives of three people.

Germany shuts down Islamic Center Hamburg – The Islamic Center Hamburg (IZH) was under investigation for several months over its alleged support for Lebanon’s Hezbollah group which is backed by Iran. Hezbollah is classified as a terrorist group by Germany.

Berlin bans red triangle symbol used by Hamas to mark targets – Berlin has banned the inverted red triangle symbol due to its use by Hamas and their supporters to mark enemy targets in videos and graffiti.
The motion passed in the state senate said the scarlet arrow icon represents an immediate threat to Jews and to people committed to the freedom and security of Israel and should be banned at protests and in the context of the Middle East conflict.
The symbol has been used to target pro-Israel academics and politicians, including Kai Wegner, the Berlin mayor who ordered the eviction of pro-Palestine protesters from the city’s Free University by police.
“Kai will pay” was graffitied on the wall of a university under a red triangle.
