Man in Berlin attacks woman allegedly because she worked – A 29-year-old Afghan man in Germany has attacked and severely injured a 58-year-old landscape gardener who was working in a park in Berlin, allegedly because he didn’t like the fact that she was working.
Police said in a statement the suspect may suffer from a mental illness. However, prosecutors and criminal police are also investigating him on suspicion that his attack may have been motivated by Islamist ideology.

German authorities are still puzzled by the mysterious deaths of three women who were killed in a knife attack.
They do know that “someone with a migrant background” and his knife were involved in the killings but because neither this someone with a migrant background nor his religion with a migrant background can be held responsible for such unpleasant realities they are now focussing in on the knife itself. “What is needed is more effectiv knife control legislation,” is most likely what German politicians are about to announce.

Now he has resigned in disgust.

A German courthas lifted a city’s ban on the burkini, an all-encompassing swimsuit used by some Muslim women.
Wearing the garments in municipal pools in the western city of Koblenz was forbidden at the beginning of this year after the local council narrowly approved a ban. Officials argued that the suite makes it impossible to check whether wearers have open wounds or diseases.

German police launch raids on Iraqi organized crime gang – Heavily armed police have carried out a series of coordinated raids on the homes of members of the “Al-Salam-313” group. The targets are suspected of people smuggling as well as dealing in narcotics…
The gang members are part of the Shiite denomination who believe that the hidden Imam Muhammad al-Mahdi will return to earth with 313 companions. The term Mahdi means Redeemer, which therefore means that he is regarded as similar to a messiah in Islam.
