Man in Berlin attacks woman allegedly because she worked – A 29-year-old Afghan man in Germany has attacked and severely injured a 58-year-old landscape gardener who was working in a park in Berlin, allegedly because he didn’t like the fact that she was working.
Police said in a statement the suspect may suffer from a mental illness. However, prosecutors and criminal police are also investigating him on suspicion that his attack may have been motivated by Islamist ideology.
PS: German Willkommenskultur (welcoming culture) fun fact: This guy was deported two years ago, then came back and was allowed to stay.
German authorities are still puzzled by the mysterious deaths of three women who were killed in a knife attack.
They do know that “someone with a migrant background” and his knife were involved in the killings but because neither this someone with a migrant background nor his religion with a migrant background can be held responsible for such unpleasant realities they are now focussing in on the knife itself. “What is needed is more effectiv knife control legislation,” is most likely what German politicians are about to announce.
Germany: Würzburg holds vigil for knife attack victims – At an emotional memorial service, Würzburg mourned the deaths of three women who were killed in a knife attack. With the motive still unclear, officials urged against responding to the attack with “hate and revenge.”
“Germany’s imams seen as key in combating radicalization.” Right.
Although “Imam training is in the spotlight of this year’s German Islam Conference. In light of recent terror attacks, Germany’s interior minister said a new training program for German-speaking imams was “money well-spent,” those in the know have something else to report. This may be what German politicians want the German public to believe but don’t ask what Islam critic Hamed Abdel-Samad (Muslim himself) has to say about the “show.”
He has been trying for ten years to make progress addressing issues within this so-called German Islam Conference, particularly those regarding the radicalization of youth and the condition of women, but has repeatedly witnessed how precisely these issues are successfully removed from the agenda – and how its German supporters (and tax payers who finance it) do absolutely nothing about it. Now he has resigned in disgust.
Just in case you were wondering, Hamed Abdel-Samad needs bodyguards – here in Germany – and has needed them for years.
„Doch seit dieser Zeit konnten die Islamverbände alle kritischen Themen, die die kritischen Stimmen auf den Tisch gebracht haben, wie etwa das Thema Radikalisierung von jungen Muslimen oder die Stellung der Frau, aus der Tagesordnung verbannen.“
Man denied German citizenship for refusing to shake woman’s hand – The man aced the German naturalization test, but refused to shake hands with the female official handing over his citizenship.
You get one guess which rich cultural background this guy had. Wow. You got that one on the very first try!
Uh-oh. The Brain Police let this one get through. We’re going to get letters.
Muslim law clerks CAN be ordered to remove head scarfs in court because ‘complete neutrality’ outweighs religious freedom, German judges rule – Judges in Germany have told a Muslim law clerk that she can be prevented from wearing a head scarf during court proceedings.
Germany’s highest bench, the Federal Constitutional Court, ruled that the judiciary’s obligation to complete neutrality outweighed her freedom of religion rights…
Civil servants and police officers have already been banned from wearing the niqab, burka or hijab or any religious symbol, but this has not previously extended to members of the public.
German oddity 415. The pig is big here. Germans have more pig and sow idioms then wurst varieties – and that’s a whole lot. They also seem to think that any phrase or saying can be improved just by adding the words pig or sow to it, thus making said phrase or saying saugut (sow good or damned fine).
So what about this German oddity in the news today? After a German day care center in Leipzig decided not to offer pork on its meal plan anymore (gee, I wonder why?) threats started coming in. The police have now decided to guard the place.
And after BILD decided to report about the day care center’s decision the hashtag #Schweinefleisch (pork) reached the number one spot in Germany.
Polizeischutz für Kita ohne Schweinefleisch in Leipzig.
That means to make “mouth-dead,” as in to silence someone.
“Groupthink requires individuals to avoid raising controversial issues or alternative solutions, and there is loss of individual creativity, uniqueness and independent thinking.”
On its third try, Germany’s center-left Social Democrats (SPD) will be able to kick controversial anti-Islam author Thilo Sarrazinfrom its ranks, an arbitration court ruled on Thursday. The former Berlin senator intends to appeal the ruling.ConCo
“We will try to take the case to all stages of the state and the federal arbitration court of the SPD and, beyond that, if necessary, all the ordinary civil instances of the district court of Berlin, the Court of Appeals and Federal Supreme Court, then the Federal Constitutional Court,” defense lawyer Andreas Köhler said. “In the meantime Dr. Sarrazin will continue to be an astute and attentive member of the SPD.”
No creeping multicultural parallel societal infiltration going on here, folks.
A German courthas lifted a city’s ban on the burkini, an all-encompassing swimsuit used by some Muslim women.
Wearing the garments in municipal pools in the western city of Koblenz was forbidden at the beginning of this year after the local council narrowly approved a ban. Officials argued that the suite makes it impossible to check whether wearers have open wounds or diseases.
The rules were challenged by a Syrian asylum-seeker, a pious Muslim who said doctors had recommended that she use a swimming pool to tackle pain caused by a back problem.
Get your motors running or something. Here come Al-Salam-313.
German police launch raids on Iraqi organized crime gang – Heavily armed police have carried out a series of coordinated raids on the homes of members of the “Al-Salam-313” group. The targets are suspected of people smuggling as well as dealing in narcotics…
The gang members are part of the Shiite denomination who believe that the hidden Imam Muhammad al-Mahdi will return to earth with 313 companions. The term Mahdi means Redeemer, which therefore means that he is regarded as similar to a messiah in Islam.
“This is why they refer to themselves as Muhammad’s companions or warriors.”
In Germany. In Berlin, in particular. That’s the title of this article down here.
I didn’t bother to read it. I’m pretty sure I know why that is and I don’t need a journalist explain to me why I’m wrong.
Mohammed is the most popular name for baby boys in Berlin… Bild, a German newspaper, reported data from the Gesellschaft für deutsche Sprache (GfdS), or German Language Society.
Mohammed in all its variants was the most popular name in Berlin, and the second most popular in Bremen, ahead of Ben but behind Elias.
Dass Mohammed in Berlin erstmals auf Platz eins der Vornamen-Hitliste steht, sorgt für Aufregung. Aber warum eigentlich?
