Terrorists Are People, Too
And it would be wrong to hurt their feelings. So that is why German comedian Dieter Nuhr has been reported to the police for anti-Islamic agitation. In Germany. By a Muslim. This guy had the nerve to make fun of Osama bin Laden himself – and Islamic terrorists and “martyrs” in general.
It is unclear if the Muslim who reported him ever reported Osama bin Laden to the police for anti-Islamic agitation, too. But that is beside the point, many hand-wringing Gutmensch-Germans are already pointing out. Islamic terrorists commit their acts in the name of Islam. So by making fun of them you also insult their religion, or so the reasoning must be. Ever feel like you’ve woken up in Wonderland?

We Are Not Soft On Russia
Germany said today. “We’re pretty soft on China, though.”
When asked why this is, the craven central European country replied “Well duh. We’re just like real pushovers when it comes to Chinese cash, that’s all. Isn’t every exporting powerhouse? We had a trade volume with China of 140.4 billion euros ($193 billion) last year, after all. That makes them our number 3 trading partner! And here you thought we were just dependent upon Russian gas.”
Asked whether China should stand up more assertively against Russia’s actions in Ukraine, Xi said that “China has no private interests” on the matter and added that Beijing always insists on non-interference in other countries’ internal affairs, as well as respecting nations’ territorial integrity.
Now It’s Getting Surreal
You know, as in having that disorienting, hallucinatory quality of a dream and being all like, well, unreal or fantastic?
I just stumbled across a German commentary in German published by a German in Germany entitled: Vielleicht ist Mitt Romney die bessere Wahl für die USA (Maybe Mitt Romney is the better choice for the USA).

Politically Incorrect Incorrectness (Correctness?)
As you may be aware of, if you take a critical stance toward Islam in and/or the Islamification of Germany, you are a very way bad person indeed and may even be what some here would call an intolerant and politically incorrect dirt ball.
But if you call yourself Politically Incorrect (PI) to begin with and make a big deal about thinking that way REAL LOUD then you’ve been outed for good and will eventually end up with the German Verfassungsschutz (Office for Constitutional Protection) on your tail.
That’s happening now, for no particular reason as far as I can see, other than the folks at the Verfassungsschutz suddenly have the need to think that the free-speaking Politically Correct just developed a dangerous and “disturbed relationship with the constitutional state.” That certainly took them awhile. PI has been around for years and hasn’t pulled any punches yet. Hmmm, and here I thought that free speech was as constitutional as apple PI, I mean pie, I mean Apfelkuchen.

“Completely unacceptable”
No, not what this guy has said (or at least not everything), I mean the fact that he’s not allowed to say it – and will now get fired.
The German PC Police have struck; in this case led by Bundesbank president Axel Weber who wants really, really bad to be the next Jean Claude Trichet (EZB boss) and every other German politician who wants to get in a few easy brownie points.
The irony? Most Germans most likely agree with Sarrazin’s criticism of the country’s Muslim population. Unlike him, they would just never admit it out loud.
Nobody has to agree with any of his comments, but I do feel that this guy really does need to be accused of one serious crime, his heavy-handed and highly unsophisticated attempt to make some buzz about (and money with) his new book.
