85 percent of Germans dissatisfied with the education system, survey reveals – A staggering 85 percent of people are dissatisfied with schools and educational policy in Germany, according to a recent representative survey by the Forsa Institute. 85 percent of survey respondents said that they believed the German education system did not sufficiently equip children and young adults for leaving school.
Pupils’ delayed learning caused by school closures during the coronavirus pandemic was among the biggest concerns for respondents. Recent data from Destatis revealed that the number of children repeating an academic year increased by 67 percent between 2021 to 2022; the academic year 2021 / 22 saw 155.800 pupils retake a year. The survey results also come as Germany reckons with a debilitating teacher shortage, with between 32.000 and 40.000 posts unfilled.
Old habits are hard to break. Especially when you’re on a roll. If you expect COVID, then COVID restrictions there will be.
Germany announces new Covid measures for fall, expecting another wave of infections – Wearing masks on planes and during long-distance travel by train and bus will be mandatory from October to early April all over Germany. Mandatory mask-wearing and the presentation of a negative coronavirus test will apply to hospitals, nursing homes and similar institutions with vulnerable people.
Many other rules will be implemented individually by the country’s 16 states depending on how severely the virus spreads in their regions. This could include the wearing of masks on local public transportation, in schools for students in grade five and up, and at public indoor events.
That means Freedom Day. And they’re celebrating Freedom Day – in Sweden.
Remember Sweden? The country that never had any COVID19 lockdowns or suffered from accute mask or vaccination psychosis? You know, the country that was never in the news? Of course you don’t remember Sweden. You’re not supposed to.
We never divided the people – No lockdown, hardly any rules: Professor explains why the path has been successful.
“Hopefully, research will soon show which actions were good and which were bad. Many decisions were made by politicians who wanted to demonstrate decisiveness. But health authorities also often had no knowledge base for their decisions. I think Sweden could have done a better job in the first weeks of the pandemic. For example, when it came to letting people come to work who had just arrived from abroad. But I’m glad we were never in a lockdown.”
That means riots. You know, like the “riot” taking place in the photo of this anti-Covid measure demonstration down there?
Germany Erupts in Protests Over COVID Mandates, Police Officers Injured in Riots – The protests come as the German government implemented new restrictions this month to deal with the Omicron variant, which is believed to be more transmissible than other variants.
Earlier in December, Germany announced limits on private gatherings that were to begin Tuesday. The restriction is intended to limit the number of people holding large gatherings on New Year’s Eve. A maximum of 10 vaccinated people are allowed to attend a private gathering. If someone who is unvaccinated attends, only one other household can go to the gathering.
German lawmakers have approved a law mandating that medical staff be vaccinated, according to the broadcaster Deutsche Welle.
“Now is not the time for parties in large groups.”
Nah. Now we’ll turn it up a notch higher and make vaccinations compulsory. What could possibly go wrong?
Man Killed Family, Then Self, Over Faked Vaccine Pass -German Prosecutor – A man who killed his wife and three young children before taking his own life had faked a vaccination certificate and feared his children would be taken away from him when the forgery was discovered, a German prosecutor said on Tuesday.
Police found two adults, both 40, and three children aged four, eight and 10 dead from gunshot wounds in a family home in Koenigs Wusterhausen south of Berlin on Saturday.
In a farewell note found by police, the man said he forged a vaccination certificate for his wife. Her employer had found out, prompting the couple to fear they would be arrested and lose their children, prosecutor Gernot Bantleon told Reuters.
He contradicts himself and changes his mind every few days too. Just like the top dog Covid expert nearest you.
Karl Lauterbach to Be Next German Health Minister – Sources.
Karl Lauterbach of Germany’s Social Democrats will serve as health minister and current justice minister Christine Lambrecht will become defence minister in the next German government, sources said on Monday.
Lauterbach, who is a trained doctor and epidemiologist, has pushed for stricter measures to stave off the fourth wave of infections currently sweeping Germany and will take over the post from the Christian Democrats’ Jens Spahn.
It couldn’t have been the German government and its COVID-19 cluelessness, arbitrary measures that changed practically on a weekly basis or the thinly-veiled threats against those in Germany who refuse to get vaccinated, right?
German official slams online ‘incitement’ after mask killing – A 49-year-old German man was arrested Sunday over the the fatal shooting a day earlier in the western town of Idar-Oberstein. Authorities said the suspect told officers he rejected the measures against the coronavirus.”
“It was a cold-blooded murder,” Health Minister Jens Spahn told reporters in Berlin, noting that the suspect had initially gone home after being refused service for failing to wear a mask, only to return later and shoot the clerk in the head.
“The question is, what is the environment, what are the circumstances in which such a crime can occur?” he asked. “This has a lot to do with the incitement, the hatred, that is posted on social media.”
No need to wonder why. German and EU politicians went out of their way to make the AstraZenica vaccine unpopular.
You know, Brexit and all that? It had to be made unpopular because it came from post-Brexit Britain and demonstrated, once again, how incompetent EU bureaucrats are in matters like this. They have done everything wrong they could possibly do wrong when it comes to COVID vaccines yet still gladly point a schoolmasterly finger at a country that is clearly getting the problem under control.
COVID: AstraZeneca vaccine remains unpopular in Germany – In Germany, everyone who wants a coronavirus vaccine should receive one by September. But this plan will only work if millions of people accept the vaccine produced by AstraZeneca.
Think about it: You are willing to endanger the lives of your own citizens in order to make your “ex” look bad.
Coronavirus: German ICUs see 40% more patients than in April – Intensive care units (ICU) at some German hospitals are reaching full capacity with seriously ill COVID-19 patients, the country’s hospital federation said. A high percentage of nurses are off sick or in quarantine.
Although German scientists have identified a warning sign for severe COVID (immature blood cells)…
They have yet to identify the many warning signs for severe COVID psychosis all around them. For instance, the severe effects this psychosis is having on our civil liberties; the indisputably measurable drop in the freedom of expression, the right to privacy, free movement and free association, etc.
Normally extremely squeamish about the concept of trade-offs when it comes to ideas like “total tolerance” “multiculturalism” and “diversity,” for example (they always have downright compulsury “solutions” for these instead), the governments funding these scientists – and restricting our freedom – have absolutely no problem imposing trade-offs on our civil liberties when it comes to COVID-19. That must be because they are going to trade them right back to us again. Real soon, right?
