Sure, the number of infections keeps climbing here but at least the German populice is doing as it is told = everything right.

Germany Passes 1 Million Coronavirus Cases As Merkel Warns Of ‘A Tough Winter’ – Germany officially passed 1 million confirmed cases of the coronavirus on Friday as the country’s daily totals remain high through the first month of what the government calls “lockdown light.” Since the beginning of November, schools and most shops have remained open, but bars, gyms and other indoor leisure centers have closed, with restaurants only open for takeaway orders.

On Wednesday, Chancellor Angela Merkel announced the country will have to live with these restrictions through at least Dec. 20.

The first batch of COVID-19 restrictions worked wonders in Germany. That’s why they introduced a tighter set of restrictions a few months later. And these were so popular (with the German government) that said government is going to re-restrict these restrictions to an even more restrictive level. A special Christmas bonus restriction track is in the works now too, I assume.

German Covid Cases in ICU Hit Record as Pandemic Intensifies – Germany has more severe Covid-19 patients than at any point since the pandemic began, underscoring the urgency facing authorities to contain the disease.

Europe’s largest economy had 2,978 people being treated for the coronavirus in intensive care facilities on Monday, exceeding the previous peak of 2,933 on April 18, according to the DIVI register of German ICU capacity.

Again. I mean, we can’t do it again. But still. We will.

The first “heavy” Corona lockdown didn’t work back in March so we’ll try a “lockdown light” now. Makes sense to me. If you ask her. But that’s only because she’s been in power since Christ was a corporal and lost all touch with reality long ago. Well, at least since 2015.

Chancellor Angela Merkel appealed to Germans to obey expansive new restrictions throughout November, holding out the prospect of more freedom in the run-up to Christmas if the second coronavirus wave is pushed back.

“If we stick it out for one month, that can be a barrier in this second wave.”

They forgot to add the panic level here though. It’s also still as flat as ever. At a much higher level, of course, but still.

“Politicians outraged about right-wing extremist protestors.” Well, the first part is true. But what they’re really outraged about is how the German sheeple aren’t being sheeple enough. This is inconveniencing them. State and leftist-controlled media outlets will take care of that, however. If you don’t read what we have to say about it (follow the Party line), it didn’t happen.

Tens of thousands of protesters occupied the center of the German capital for the second time in a month on Saturday, denouncing pandemic restrictions in defiance of governments that are battling a resurgence of infections.

Berlin authorities said some 35,000 to 38,000 demonstrators from Germany and elsewhere in Europe gathered throughout the day. In the early afternoon police broke up a march through Berlin’s Mitte district after tens of thousands of protesters disregarded safety measures.

Berlin bans large weekend protests against coronavirus restrictions, citing health grounds – The city government of Berlin has called off several planned weekend protests, the largest of which on Saturday expected to draw 20,000 people or more. The organizers plan to challenge the move in court.

Anyone who does not conform to the red-redder-green party line is immediately labeled a right-wing extremist. Works every time.
