Tesla Hit by German Suit Over Car Surveillance, Carbon Footprint – German Consumer Group VZBV files action in Berlin court. Case argues drives using device may violate data rules
Tesla Inc. was hit by a lawsuit in Germany over potential privacy concerns linked to its car surveillance cameras and claims that buying its vehicles helps cut CO2 emissions.
Or at least I assume that’s what these people have been doing.
Otherwise they wouldn’t have glued themselves to the road with it. Am I right or am I right?
“It’s absolutely crazy to stick yourself to the road with superglue,” admits Lina Schinkoethe.
So that’s precisely what she then proceeds to do. Stay away from this stuff, kids.
German Climate Activists Aim to Stir Friction with Blockades – Schinkoethe is part of a group called Uprising of the Last Generation that claims the world has only a few years left to turn the wheel around and avoid catastrophic levels of global warming.
These Germans. They’re all worried about some horrible war just a few miles down the road and ever-growing inflation that looks as though it might be spiralling out of control.
They should worry about real problems, like they used to. You know, like their plans for this year’s third vacation, their next second car, finally starting that diet, which weekend demonstration to take part in, etc.
Germans worry about war and inflation – The German government is supporting Ukraine, battling inflation, and combatting climate change. A monthly survey has asked voters how they rate the efforts.
The war is driving up energy prices, but food prices have also risen significantly. Almost half of all respondents said they already have to cut back significantly because of this. Among low-income earners, 77% say they are beginning to struggle…
German Chancellor accused of comparing climate activists to Nazis.
Climate alarmists have been doing this for years. And CNN & Co. wrote the book on it: If anyone calmly refutes the unsubstaniated, hysterical claims that form the basis of your “Climate Crisis” news “stories,” just counter with “the science is settled” or “are you a denier” (think Holocaust denier, get it?). These aren’t arguments, of course, but they somehow manage to get their customers to think they are.
German Chancellor Olaf Scholz was accused Monday of comparing climate activists to Nazis, in allegations that his spokesperson said were “completely absurd.”
Scholz was speaking at a Catholic Day panel event in the city of Stuttgart on Friday when protesters disrupted him, with one activist reportedly trying to get up on stage before being blocked by security staff.
“I’ll be honest: These black-clad displays at various events by the same people over and over again remind me of a time that is, thank God, long gone by,” he said in an exchange captured on camera.
Literally, monkey theater. Meaning farce, charade, monkey business.
Germany monkeypox infections rise to three after Berlin cases – At least two cases of monkeypox have been registered in Berlin, health authorities in the German capital said on Saturday, one day after the country registered its first case in Munich.
Geez. You’d think the American Health Secretary would have known enough to get one of those anti-COVID vaccination thingies.
Oh. He did? Several, even? I know, these vaccinations don’t stop you from getting COVID (not anymore), they just stop you from passing it on to others (not anymore). Well, the Germans are going to lock his ass up in quarantine anyway. Or ought to.
Health and Human Services Secretary Xavier Becerra tested positive for COVID-19 on Wednesday while traveling in Berlin, the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) announced.
“This morning in Berlin, ahead of G7 meetings for health ministers, U.S. Health and Human Services Secretary Xavier Becerra tested positive for COVID-19 after taking a PCR test,” HHS spokeswoman Sarah Lovenheim said in a statement. “He is fully vaccinated and boosted against COVID-19, and is experiencing mild symptoms. He will continue to perform his duties as HHS Secretary, working in isolation.”
I know. This comparison has never been tried before. That’s what makes it so, I dunno, sophisticated or something. Yawn.
German Anti-Vaxxers Are Fleeing to Paraguay Just Like Nazis Did 70 Years Ago – A failed Aryan colony, runaway Nazis, and loose coronavirus regulations have led to a flood of European anti-vaxxers arriving in the South American nation.
Man Got 87 Doses Of Covid-19 Coronavirus Vaccines – On some days, he got as many as three separate shots.
Reportedly, each time the man showed up to get vaccinated, he was armed, so to speak, with another blank vaccination document so that the vaccine batch number could be filled in the document after he got the shot. He could then sell these documents to people who wanted to pretend that they had gotten vaccinated and needed faux Covid-19 vaccination records. This scam may have worked, oh the first 80 or so times. But eventually staff members recognized the man, caught on, and notified the police.
Two German states ban Russian ‘Z’ symbol – The ‘Z’ symbol used by Russia in the war against Ukraine is banned by two of Germany’s federal states, and more could soon follow as calls to extend the ban to other regions pile up.
Bavaria and Lower Saxony, two of the most populated German regions, have outlawed the public use of the Russian symbol. Anyone showing the symbol publicly or at demonstrations can now face up to three years in prison or a fine.
