Is This The Shot In The Foot?

The German Greens are notorious for this. Whenever they are doing well in the polls, which is the case at the moment, they say something so revealing, that is, so ridiculous about their policies, that they single-handedly manage to turn this trend around.

This time the shot may have come from Robert Habeck, the Green boy boss who was edged out of the running as head honcho by the Green girl boss Annalena Baerbock. How much he resents this we’ll probably never know but in a talk show last night the possibility of raising the price of gasoline as high as 60 euros per liter (per liter, not gallon) was addressed. You know, to make the world a greener place and save humanity and all that? Under her leadership, of course.

I’m not sure but I can’t imagine even the greenest of German Green going along with that one. Unless they’re really green behind the ears.

„Der klimawirksame Gewinn ist nicht so besonders hoch. Das muss man einfach zugeben. Es ist eher ein Beispiel dafür, was man alles machen kann, was niemandem wirklich weh tut. Die ökonomische Frage, wie teuer Fliegen wird, ist davon zu trennen.“

Germany Pledges 40 Million Euros For More Gaza Rockets

Germany on Tuesday pledged 40 million euros ($48.86 million) to ramp up rocket purchase and production for Hamas in Gaza, where more than 52,000 Palestinians have been displaced by the latest Israeli air strikes, according to the U.N.

“Today, we will lobby for a better supply of Iranian rockets in Gaza,” an unidentifiable masked spokesman for the German Foreign Ministry said. “Officially for better humanitarian aid in Gaza, of course, but every child knows where this money always ends up,” he added.

Bureaucracy? In Germany?

No way.

No way this is a news item, I mean.

Tesla’s Musk blames bureaucracy for German gigafactory delays – Tesla Chief Executive Elon Musk called for cuts to German red tape on Monday as he said it was unclear when exactly the first electric car would roll off the production line of its planned plant outside Berlin.

This guy really is a visionary, a dreamer. If he actually believes this could ever be possible in Germany: “There should be some kind of active process for removal of rules. Otherwise, over time, the rules will just accumulate and you get more and more rules until eventually you can’t do anything.”

First They Came For The Hate Speech

And I did not speak out because I was not a hate speaker.

Then they came for the impolite speech, and I did not speak out because I was not an impolite speaker.

Then they came for the mildly dislike and disapprove of speech (and I mildly dislike and disapprove of practically everybody and everything), and there was no one left to speak out for me.

End all unpleasant speech and everything I don’t agree with speech now! Or something.

German lawmaker confronts online hate speech, death threats – From abuse on the web to attacks on the SPD office in Wuppertal, threats of death and mutilation are a regular experience for the parliamentarian and anti-racism campaigner Helge Lindh. But giving up is not an option.

Humanitarian Aid

Just like the Banana Republic of America, Germany and the EU continue to support “humanitarian” NGOs who then funnel this money to Hamas & Co.

And just like the Banana Republic, these same concerned Europeans then condemn Israeli for defending itself with retaliation attacks.

Hamas, if you didn’t know, is just another name for the Iranian mullah regime. The rockets being fired from Gaza are made in Iran. Here too, the Banana Republic and Europe are doing everything in their power to restore the nuclear deal with Iran. This, we are led to believe, will promote peace in the Middle East. You can’t make this stuff up, people.

Deutschland hat den Kern des Krieges nicht erkannt.

Slight Correction Here:

It never had control in the first place.

A subtle but important difference.

How Germany lost control of its coronavirus response – In mid-2020, Germany was hailed the world’s shining star of coronavirus containment. Now, while countries like the UK and Israel are going back to normalcy, Germany has been under some form of lockdown for over six months. How did Germany, a country known for its efficiency, love of planning and rationality lose control of its COVID-19 response?

“On The Rise”

Just like racism, anti-Semitism, CO2, shark attacks and so much more, “social inequality” is on the rise in Germany.

Social inequality in Germany is on the rise – Germany’s poor are getting poorer, and the rich richer. A new government report has made clear how wide the country’s social divide is growing.

The odd thing about this is I can’t think of a time when social inequality and all the others weren’t on the rise. It’s all so very alarming. It sure is reassuring to know that this rise isn’t a classic journalistic device used to inflame and generate alarm to bring in higher ratings and increase advertising revenue for greater profit. Otherwise it would be hard to take headlines like these seriously.

The Next Imaginary Disease

In Germany. It’s called “COVID Fueled Racism.”

The Media Brain Police crank these out so fast I can hardly keep up with them, folks.

Has COVID fueled racism? Germany sees dramatic rise in complaints – Germany’s anti-discrimination agency has a recorded a 78% rise in calls for help since last year. That is more than ever before, with the Black Lives Matter movement and the coronavirus pandemic seen as drivers.

Out through the night and the whispering breezes
To the place where they keep the imaginary diseases
Out through the night and the whispering breezes
To the place where they keep the imaginary diseases…

He’s Not A Racist

And everybody here knows it. His problem is that he’s not a Green. He says reasonable, grown-up, real-world things all day long.

That’s why he is “controversial.” That’s why the Greens have to kick him out. It’s like the SPD all over again with their heretic, Thilo Sarrazin. If you don’t follow the party line you’re history. Die Partei hat immer recht. The party is always right, especially when it’s left.

Germany: Greens to oust Tübingen mayor over racist comments – Members of the environmentalist Greens party have overwhelmingly voted to remove Boris Palmer from their ranks. The mayor had used a racial slur against soccer player Dennis Aogo.

“We Help People In Need At Home”

People in need of more high explosives and new Kalashnikows, for instance.

Germany outlaws Islamist organization Ansaar International – Interior Minister Horst Seehofer has banned the Düsseldorf-based Islamist association on suspicion of financing terrorist groups abroad such as the Palestinian Hamas and Al-Shabaab in Somalia.

“Some aid projects, however, fall directly within the sphere of activity of the terrorist organization in question.”
