“Persistent weakness” sounds bad

But not as bad as “greatest real estate crisis since the financial crisis.”

The fun just never seems to end these days.

German bank alerts the market on exposure to commercial real estate – The troubles in the US commercial property market, which have already hit banks in New York and Japan, moved to Europe this week, elevating fears about broader contagion.

The latest victim was Germany’s Deutsche Pfandbriefbank AG, which saw its bonds slump on concern about its exposure to the sector. It responded by issuing an unscheduled statement Wednesday that it had increased provisions because of the “persistent weakness of the real estate markets.”

It described the current turmoil as the “greatest real estate crisis since the financial crisis.”

“On the rise”

Always on the rise. For as long as I or anyone else here can remember, on the rise.

Right-wing extremism. It’s always on the rise. Everywhere, but in Germany in particular. Geez. You’d think they would have finally risen to the top by now already. Good thing these warnings are not a classic political/journalistic device used to generate alarm for votes and higher ratings.

Germany’s Scholz says dark neo-Nazi networks are on the rise – Germany’s Chancellor Olaf Scholz on Saturday voiced concern over the rise of extreme-right tendencies in his country 79 years after the Auschwitz extermination camp was liberated.

It’s not an “on the rise” problem in Germany. It’s an “on the run” problem. The established political parties are slowly getting choked to death. Or, more accurately, slowly choking themselves to death.

“We must finally start deporting people on a grand scale”

German Chancellor Olaf Scholz (SPD) said this months ago. He has always been ahead of his time, I guess.

That’s why the current fabricated frenzy about the AfD party allegedly planning the same thing doesn’t make much sense. But Scholz is a social democratic (socialist) goody-two-shoes kinda guy so the mass deportation he is demanding must be a nicer and more “social” kind. If he says “we have to deport people more often and faster,” nobody cares. That it’s all talk and no walk and none of these deportations will ever take place in Germany is another story altogether.

Funny what a few months and the continued success of of the AfD at the polls can make. But nothing has been orchestrated here, folks. Just move along please.

Wir müssen endlich im großen Stil abschieben.”

Clearly Orchestrated Turmoil

The German government, i.e. the established parties in Germany, wants to pull a “ban Trump” number on the competition.

It’s quite simple, really. The AfD is getting too many votes and it looks like this will continue to be the case. Talk of banning the party is increasingly in the air.

Just study this latest embarrassingly heavy-handed move. German Gutmenschen (goody-two-shoes, virtue-signalling “correct” thinkers), already loudly vocal against the AfD, are being told by the powers that be (see state media) to somehow be even more against them, this due to an alleged “mass deportation” meeting that probably never took place. Or, if it did, most certainly not in the way it’s being spun. In other words, although you all already knew that the AfD was anti-uncontrolled immigration, you must now show your moral outrage about finding out that the AfD is anti-uncontrolled immigration – and hit the streets in protest. And sheeple being sheeple, they’ve done exactly as they’ve been told.

Turmoil in Germany over neo-Nazi mass deportation meeting – Revelation that members of AfD met with extremists to discuss removing asylum seekers has sparked days of protests.

German of the day: “Wie kommt es zu dem extremen Winterwetter?”

That means: “What causes the extreme winter weather?”

In January. In Germany.

This was a real question asked and addressed by Germany’s ARD state TV channel. And they were serious. It wasn’t meant to be a joke. But it certainly is.

“Climate crisis” hysteria has brought us to the point where perfectly natural seasonal weather is now seen as a threat in need of an explanation and a solution.

World War 3 just ain’t what it used to be

Yawn. Another “secret report” has been “discovered” somewhere. I hate public secret reports.

Especially when public secret reports like these are nothing other than plans. Normal military plans. Armies plan for everything, that’s what they’re supposed to do. Even when they aren’t real armies, like the Bundeswehr.

Germany ‘preparing for war’ as conflict between NATO and Russia ‘imminent’ – One of the founding principles of NATO is collective defence, which sees all members leaping to the defence of another country part of the alliance if it invokes Article 5.

Referring to a secret Bundeswehr document, a source told German daily Bild that an escalation between Moscow and the Western alliance could start as early as next month.

The confidential document details how the war may erupt, with events and incidents happening month after month.

“No details about their identities were released…”

My bet is they’re Seventh-Day Adventists. Or Buddhists, maybe.

German officials detain 3 more suspects in connection with a Cologne Cathedral attack threat – Three more people were detained Sunday in connection with a reported threat of an attack on the Cologne Cathedral over the holidays, German authorities said.

The detentions came only days after a 30-year-old Tajik man was detained in relation to an alleged plot to attack the world-famous cathedral by Islamic extremists in the western German city.

The suspects were detained in the western cities of Duisburg, Herne and Dueren in the state of North Rhine-Westphalia, and their apartments were also searched there. No details about their identities were released.

Lone Muslim + terror attack = “undergoing psychiatric treatment”

That’s the standard European media formula used in cases like this.

They have ready-made templates for “stories” like this, all prepared in their top desk drawer, so-to-speak. They are meant to absolve the powers that be (and “the religion of peace” itself, of course) from its duties of addressing the real problem. And it works like a charm. Every time.

German tourist killed and two others injured in central Paris attack – Police arrest a man known to authorities as a radical Islamist after passersby attacked near Eiffel Tower.

It’s deadly out there

Climate crisis deadly.

And it’s getting deadlier all the time. Namely, whenever the temperature isn’t “just right.” Whatever “that “just right” might be.

German authorities urge people to stay home amid deadly winter weather – Authorities in western Germany on Tuesday urged residents to stay home, warning of life-threatening danger, after a burst of winter weather led to hazardous roads, leaving two people dead.

The sudden onset of winter led to several accidents and people being trapped in their vehicles due to slippery roads and fallen branches caused by snowfall in many parts of Germany.

For the past forty years…

Germany has been becoming “a far-right stronghold.” For the past forty years at least (I’ve seen it, live).

So, you’d think that after all this time and effort these far-right folks might have finally built a stronghold that anyone with any sense would finally feel threatened by. Well, they haven’t. This is just another classic media and leftist party trope the German establishment recycles at regular intervals to allow their clientele to feel morally superior and signal virtue. You know. That “cry wolf” kinda thing? Call them Nazis and the people will love you for it.

Once Inoculated by Its Nazi Past, Germany Is Becoming a Far-Right Stronghold – Support for pro-Russia, anti-immigration Alternative for Germany surges as more voters lose faith in mainstream politics.
