A German U-boat that sank off the British coast during World War II has been captured on camera in remarkable images.

The pictures were taken by diving contractor Dive Newquay, which took a group of divers to see the remains of U-1021, British news agency SWNS reports. The vessel lies 9 nautical miles off the coast of Cornwall.

“The U1021 lies about nine nautical miles from Newquay Harbour and sits in 55m [180 feet] of water,” a Dive Newquay spokesperson told the news outlet. “Dives of this depth are considered technical, which require special planning and different breathing gasses.”

The wreck is near two other U-boats that also sank during the war.

U-1021 served with 31st U-boat Flotilla before disappearing in March 1945.

Police and security officials in Frankfurt, Germany, announced Monday they have banned late gatherings in that city’s opera square after a party there turned violent over the weekend, resulting in 39 arrests.

Germany: Cow-trampling drama leaves hiker severely injured – A 67-year-old German man has received serious injuries after he was trampled by cows while hiking in Saarland. Police say he was out hiking with his dog when he was knocked to the ground by a herd of cattle.

A warning sign has been placed there, pointing out the dangers of cows and urging hikers to avoid the pasture if there are animals on it.

Police in Germany conduct raids on suspected Islamists in Berlin – Berlin police are investigating 12 suspects who are accused of financing terrorism, among other crimes…

Germany’s Police Trade Union welcomed the raids as an example of the result of meticulous investigative work. It is no secret that cash flows from criminal gangs in “our money-laundering paradise” to fund terrorist organizations, the union’s regional deputy head Thomas Spaniel said, according to the German news agency dpa.

Last year, the domestic intelligence agency for the state of Berlin counted 2,170 Islamists in the city, 180 more than the previous year.

Germany is not only 1) a society based on envy, 2) Germans think that anyone else’s gain is automatically someone else’s loss and 3) they expect the wealthy to be punished for being wealthy. If they failed to be punished, then that would only encourage others to become wealthy too.

World Wealth Report: Germany’s dollar millionaires on the rise – The number of Germany’s dollar millionaires rose by 100,000 in 2019, according to the World Wealth Report. The US had the biggest upturn, although the coronavirus crisis could change the upward trend.

PS: A new groundbreaking study published in the American Psychological Association Journal Emotion has just discovered that, on average, the more income someone makes, the happier they are.
